We’ll ask you to fill out some quick questions about your symptoms. Then talk in a relaxed one-on-one to outline your health goals and find out if treatment is right for you.

The Spinal Health Assessment will take 45 minutes to give you enough time for a thorough examination (and treatment if appropriate).

Any of the following will be useful, but don’t worry if you can’t:

• A list of medication you’re on
• A diary of your symptoms (if you’ve made one)
• Any medical records of previous injuries that you think could be useful

Unlike some clinics who use medical gowns or touch bare skin, we believe in a more relaxed approach. Everything we do is over your normal clothing; at most, we might ask to you remove a thick jumper.

Just dress in whatever is comfortable.

Our only aim in the Spinal Health Assessment is to find out if treatment could help you. We’ll offer honest advice and tell you more about the program if we believe it’s the right thing for you.

Sometimes people are already set on joining. If so, we can begin treatment straight away. However, we will never pressure you to do this.

If we can’t help you, we’ll still be able to offer advice and find someone who can help.
